Meet Our Founder

In the course of my childcare profession, I have worked with children of all ages and varying backgrounds and home settings. I’ve enjoyed caring for children in the classroom in a group child care setting, as well as owning and operating an in-home child care for 7 years, and also 10 years as a Head Star Teacher. I’ve extended my experience into management as an administrator for 15 years and program director for 3 years as a YoungStar Coach.

I understand the value of providing meaningful learning experiences and quality programming. I love sharing my knowledge with programs. Every educator has something unique that defines their connection to children and families.

Every experience I’ve had has shaped and guided me to where I am today; I’m an educator, a parent, a resource, an advocate for children and colleagues in the field, and hopefully, a champion for children. I believe every child needs a champion, and my experiences following my passions have led me to be just that.

I enjoy being a part of a child’s development process and firmly believe that every child is unique and deserving of love and positive guidance. I also believe that children need a strong support system that includes family and community. Likewise, I can contribute by training the next educators and ensuring they are prepared for the challenges they’ll face when stepping into a classroom. I’ll give them tools to bring their best selves to the child’s environment.
